This Saturday Portugal won euro 2016. It is an unbelievable story how they won. Portugal finished 3rd in their pool. To move on the the next round you have to get first of second. But Portugal got lucky and got the wildcard to move on to the next round. They really never faced any strong teams but with there strong defense didn't get scored on very often. They defeated wales to go to the final. It was sure a shock that they did so well. Although they had such a strong team including Ronaldo, Nani, and Pepe. In the cup final France was the faved to win because of their great performance all cup long. One of there stare players Antoine Griezman was at his best with the most goals in the cup with 6 goals. But France played poorly, although France had so many opportunities they couldn't score. Cristiano Ronaldo got injured in the first half to make Portugal feel there is no hope left. In extra time Portugal's Eder scores to shock France and take the cup away.
